The problem
The brand was known in its home market and completely unknown in the new one. Launch date was fixed, and the plan was a single burst of ads on opening week.
What we did
We ran an eight-week warm-up: local-language content, a small set of creator partnerships chosen for genuine audience overlap, and a creative testing schedule so that by launch week we knew which message worked. Retargeting pools were built before there was anything to sell.
Outcome
- Launch week opened to an existing audience rather than a cold one
- Winning creative identified before the expensive spend, not after
- Cost per acquisition at launch well below the cold-start benchmark
